KiriBloX® is a standardized wall module system made of 100% wood, consisting of vertical, octagonal profiles made of Kiri wood. The modules are connected without glue or metal using precisely milled pinewood system dowels, creating a stable and sustainable construction.
Modular design
The KiriBloX® system consists of two standard modules:
- Base module
- Intermediate module
Turning the base module over and attaching it to the intermediate module creates a total height of 2.85 m per wall.
Assembly and connection system
During assembly, the individual modules are connected securely and accurately using special system dowels made of pine wood. This enables a stable construction without the use of glue or metal.
Flexible connection options
The system can also be plugged in around corners so that complete external and internal walls can be constructed continuously. The modules are designed in such a way that different wall thicknesses and heights can be realized, which enables individual adaptation to different building requirements.
Fire protection
- Kiri wood has fire-retardant properties that offer a high level of fire protection and make it particularly safe for use in buildings.
Thermal insulation
- Thanks to the high air entrapment in the Kiri wood, the system achieves very good insulating properties
Statics
- The vertically aligned wood fibers enable exceptional load-bearing capacity.
- Even small diameters such as branches or 3-year-old Kiri trees can be used, which conserves resources and allows the use of young Kiri wood.
Shape and dimensional stability
- Kiri wood has very low swelling and shrinkage behavior, which ensures high stability – even in changing weather conditions.
- The modules remain permanently dimensionally stable and retain their shape.

The exterior walls must be weatherproofed. The required U-values can be achieved by installing a 60 mm thick lightweight fibre insulation board on the outside, which minimizes the building’s energy requirements. Cladding with diffusion-open products is optional for the inside of the exterior walls and the interior walls themselves. The vertical gaps allow supply lines to be laid behind the cladding. Airtightness is ensured even without internal cladding.
Indoor climate
The solid and diffusion-open wall structure with KiriBloX® ensures constant temperature and moisture regulation, creating a balanced, pleasant and healthy indoor climate.
- Sustainable cultivation outside of forests: KiriBloX® is based on wood from fast-growing, non-invasive Kiri tree hybrids grown on sustainable agricultural timber plantations outside forests.
- Efficient use of raw materials: The use of young trees and branches significantly reduces the consumption of raw materials.
- Sustainable harvesting through resprouting: After harvesting, the Kiri tree sprouts again on its own, so that new wood can be harvested for KiriBloX® timber construction every three years.
- Minimal waste: The almost round shape of the individual elements means there is hardly any wood waste.
- Environmentally friendly construction system: The absence of glue and metal makes the system particularly sustainable, fully recyclable and reusable.
- Permanent CO₂ storage: A detached house with KiriBloX® walls stores up to 50 tons of CO₂.
- Sustainable origin: KiriBloX® is produced from certified organic cultivation areas in Germany and from ecologically managed plantations in Spain – without deforestation, but with the advantages of solid wood construction.
